How to Get Long Lasting LED Bulbs
LED bulbs have the "promise" of lasting for YEARS. But the reality is, many burn out in as little as less than a year. Why, can what you can do to overcome this. First, here's a great video explaining the issue.
As you'll learn, when you search for bulbs, be sure they are rated, "Enclosed Fixture Rated". For example, if you search for light bulbs on Amazon, be sure to include the words, "Enclosed Fixture Rated". THESE bulbs will tolerate higher heat, and therefore in ALL situations, will last much longer than other bulbs, and usually will give you the full rated time, such as 5 or 10 years.
